Atlanta! Here I am at 6:09am at Gate A7 in the domestic terminal, awaiting my 8:10 flight to Louisville, where my beautiful family will be waiting to pick me up! I am SO EXCITED to see their faces and Hug them tight!
My Journey home began at 8:00 am Uganda time, Friday Morning (1:00am here), and has taken me to the Equator,

to London,

Over the Atlantic,
and back here to US soil! I arrived in Atlanta last night at 7:45pm (2:45 AM Sunday, Uganda time).
I tried desperately to get a standby flight on the last flight of the night, but this green traveler didn't realize that you may only fly standby on the same calendar day. (and it turns out the flight was completely booked, anyway.) So, I claimed a spot in the atrium of the airport and hunkered down to try to get some sleep, so that I can be as fresh as possible for the fam this morning. That lasted till about 4:30am, so here I am. waiting at my gate early.
Can't wait to share with anyone who wants to here all that I saw God do during my time in Uganda. Truly, It will be impossible to share all, as He did SO MUCH! Also, there is no way for me to know all that He did/continues to do as a result. But if you want to hear, let's grab a cup of coffee and a comfy chair, because my heart is full of the things that I have witnessed!
God is Good!
Ninkugonza muno! (I love you!)
