Today began with putting my hands in the dirt, covering pipes that will bring clean water to many who have had to walk very far up 'til now! To God be the Glory! It was SO AWESOME to be allowed to participate in the physical labor of laying the pipe! Granted, we muzungas probably did little more than slow down the people of Kaihura who were there to work, but they graciously let us labor with them, shoulder to shoulder.

The day ended with visits to 5 schools. Each one made a real impact on me, but there is not the time, nor the endurance for me to write it all, or for you to read it all … at least in this one post. So let me share with you how the last visit concluded...

After praying with the students who would be testing soon (a VERY big deal, basically a pass/fail at life), our guide, Kenneth shared with the children a bit of his testimony and asked them who wanted to accept Jesus. Many hands were raised, and Kenneth asked me to lead them in a prayer to accept Christ! I pray that many of them were sincere and received the new life that God promises us when we put our faith in Him!

Praise God for all He is doing! I am so blessed to be a part of it!

By the way, if you see my family, please tell them that I love them and miss them greatly!
